For all who ask…

Then Mary spoke to Catherine: “Have a medal struck upon this model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around the neck.” “Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person.”

The Virgin Mary also told Dominic to “Pray my Psalter and teach it to your people. That prayer will never fail”.

No matter which apparition of the Holy Mother you favor, it is plain to see that she is reaching out and giving very specific instructions. Very simply, talk to Our Virgin Mother. Trust in her, confide in her, rejoice with her and when sorrowful, ask for her graces as she has promised to grant.

The bible says:

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7

Help for every problem you could encounter is there for the asking. These Holy visits seem to be reminders that we are not alone and to ask for help when needed, to open the lines of communication and become closer to our Lord and Holy Mother.

Saturday is The Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord

The Transfiguration of Jesus Christ is the moment Jesus revealed his glory as the Son of God to earthly and heavenly witnesses.

Jesus took John, Peter, and James with him to the top of Mt. Tabor to pray. As they prayed, Jesus’ face changed and his robes emitted a bright light, brighter than anything the diciples had ever seen. Then Moses and Elijah appeared next to Jesus and began to speak to him of his coming departure. This startled John, Peter and James who could do nothing but watch as Christ transformed before them. Suddenly, a cloud appeared and enveloped them all. Then a voice was heard saying, “This is my son, whom I have chosen; Listen to him.”

When the cloud had dispersed, Jesus stood alone, relieved of his heavenly visitors. He then made the three witnessing apostles promise to remain quiet about what they had seen on the mountain until Christ had died and risen.

The Feast of the Transfiguration is another opportunity to bring your family together to learn of the Light of the World, Jesus Christ, Son of our most holy Lord and of his metamorphesis on Mt. Tabor.
